During this three-hour session, participants will learn about the history of challah, and its significance in Jewish communities around the globe before moving on to mixing, kneading, braiding, and baking techniques for successful home challah baking. There will be plenty of hands-on time in our kitchen!
Participants will prepare two challah – one that will be baked in Liv Breads’ deck oven and one that will be frozen, ready for proofing and baking at home.
Students will also have the opportunity to taste challah with different toppings
This class is only open to adults over the age of 18.
